It’s time to wake up and realize the Vacation Rental industry brings the most revenue to our community! In fact, your very existence throughout the Florida Keys dependents on the vacation rental industry for most of you.
Vacation Rentals are the biggest most viable industry in both Marathon and Key Colony Beach and through-out the Keys. In fact, vacation rentals have surpassed all the hotels and resorts in income world-wide.
It’s the tourist industry big enough to bring in over $2,000,000,000 + per year income locally and that’s not only our rents, taxes but discretionary money from guests. Our community lives on this income!
Therefore, Vacation Rentals in the Florida Keys is an integral part of this community and directly impacts the bottom-line for everyone doing business in the Keys.
Here is another bit of information you can take to the bank. Remember this! It’s a small town!
Our word-of-mouth advertising (vacation rental managers and owners) matters. Our direct marketing (to all our vacation rental guests) is actually more valuable in this community than all the media ads you can buy. Think about it. There are more vacation rentals and guests booked with us then the entire resorts or hotels combined.
Yes, Our vacation rental guests ask us - Where to go?, Where to eat?, and What to do? We control the information flow - our vacation rental guests depend on us – our word-of-mouth advertising and ironically so do you! The “power of the purse” from all our guests who book our vacation rentals will dictate if your business stays profitable or not. Think of us as too big to fail!
All local business owners; restaurants, pizza shops, bars, fishing charters, tackle shops, scuba diving stores, snorkeling tours, gift shows, beauty salons, real estate businesses, title companies, grocery stores, banks, furniture stores and liquor stores, etc… all those businesses who we’ve done business with will either benefit or not from us directly.
We’re creating a valuable resource to share with all our members (vacation owners and managers) especially our vacation guests. The new website we share will contain lists of preferred venders for property owners and managers (plumbers, banks, electricians, locksmiths, builders, title companies, etc.). It will include the best restaurants, bars, shops, tourist attractions, rental companies, dive shops, car rentals, etc…. for our guests.
